About Us

P R I N C I P A L: Constance Mueller is German and has lived in the US for over 20 years. She is fluent in various design languages. Both the European classic architectural elements and the modernist movement influence her work. Her understanding of comfort is deeply American.

Prior to starting Studio CM in 2015, Constance worked in high-end interior design. She worked on individual projects and participated as a team. She has collaborated with numerous creative partners and has established deep relationships in the design, trade and construction industry throughout her career. An expert on both American and European design, Constance is also well-versed in international business practices.

A P P R O A C H: Studio CM, is a Santa Rosa/Sonoma County & Chicago based boutique interior design firm, that provides personalized interior design services to what has become an international client base. The perception of space is deeply rooted in our culture and life history. Studio CM strives to create a harmonious interior that reflects the personality of their owners while continuing the architectural context of the building and the surroundings. Studio CM strives to bridge the gap between the projects full potential and the boundaries imposed by the realities of life. Great design is the culmination of a tri-party relationship between designer, client and space. Studio CM’s role is to translate the clients taste into the space. Every interior is as unique as the client it was conceived for.
