Landscape Project Manager - Lead a Great Team!

The Landscape Project Manager oversees the preparation and installation of additional billable projects, collaborating closely with Account Managers and Branch Managers to achieve goals, manage staffing, and cultivate a positive team culture.
You will be responsible for…-
Maintaining and managing administrative systems such as time sheets, job databases, and service schedules.

Ordering materials, monitoring costs, and managing deliveries to ensure project efficiency.

Assisting Account Managers with estimating, design, and client meetings, as well as independently selling enhancement services, regardless of maintenance contracts.

Regularly communicating with Account Managers to understand and address client needs.

Monitoring landscapes post-service to identify and address issues such as insect infestations or disease.

Requesting and using purchase orders according to company guidelines.

Supporting the Branch Manager in enhancement sales tasks as needed.

Collaborating with the Branch Manager on staffing needs, hiring crew members, and scheduling daily crew activities.
Additional Responsibilities:-
Managing multiple landscape projects, efficiently balancing labor, materials, time, and client expectations.

Demonstrating expertise in horticulture, including knowledge of turf, shrubs, ground cover, plants, weeds, and pest control.

Developing weekly schedules and completing paperwork accurately and on time.

Reading and interpreting contracts to ensure project alignment.

Possessing strong irrigation skills, including controller programming and troubleshooting.

Providing excellent, timely, and courteous service to clients, site partners, and staff.

Training, supervising, and assisting crew members in company horticultural practices.

Training Crew Leaders to organize tasks for crew members at each job site.

Directing crews to complete tasks efficiently within the proposed job scope and timeline, while monitoring performance.

Identifying and addressing unsafe conditions and practices, communicating necessary actions, and supervising the safety program to ensure proper injury reporting.
Qualifications:-
2+ years college & 2+ years landscaping experience or 4+ years landscaping experience

Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture or other Green Industry degree preferred

Knowledge of all facets of production including irrigation, spray equipment, etc

Customer service experience and supervisory experience

Ability to prioritize job duties in a fast-paced environment

Effective oral and written communication skills

Proficient with computer software programs including Aspire, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong work ethic
-
Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus

Valid CA Driver’s License
